Jingle, jingle, jingle… that time of year is fast approaching! And for many excited families, this will be a very special Christmas of firsts, one that they share with the new addition to their family. In the lead-up to last year’s Christmas, I swore as a first time mummy that I would not go silly with Christmas gifts for my then 9 month old. But…. This is the time of year that I would encourage as much silliness as possible! We’ve all spent a year working hard, whether this has been home as a parent, at the workplace, or for many of us, at both. Christmas is a time to celebrate the wonderful people we have in our lives and to also treat ourselves. Going a little silly for my baby boy last year, and again for my now-toddler this year, is much of a treat for me as it is for him.

Our gorgeous clients Kellie and Naresh have got into the festive spirit already. I met this last week and helped them design the cover of their beautiful Christmas cards (above), featuring images of their very, very beautiful baby girl Isabella. I could not believe the amount of gummy grins she had for our photographer during their recent family photography sitting! Kellie and Naresh also created a stunning framed piece, with a mix of nine of their favourtite images in our classic black and white Signature range. I can’t wait to see the finished product!
