One of my dear friends and an amazing photographer, Letece Oliver now runs this department. She was one of my lecturers at Uni way back in 1991, she then photographed my wedding in my final year.

Leah Broadfoot has recently been appointed one of the new lecturers by Letece and it was Leah that contacted me. Another amazing talented photographer, both of these women are an absolutely fantastic inspiration to all the students.

Years ago I would have been feeling sick at the thought of speaking for 30seconds, and now I am speaking for 2 hours (!) no problem at all.

I do feel really honoured to be asked and I loved it.

The students were fantastic and I hope they enjoyed it. There is a definite challenge in keeping the crowd entertained. I truly admire professional speakers who are able to entertain an audience.

I find, that in speaking of how I started, I have re-inspired myself, it gets me all excited again about photography and business.
