It didn’t take long chatting with Kate to realise just how important photographs were to her and her family. After what was described as a very challenging birth (she was two hours away from the nearest hospital when she suddenly went into labour!). Kate explained that the newborn shoot she already had booked quite some weeks away, had to be rescheduled to a much earlier date to ensure that she did not miss such a special time. At just 11 days old, Emmet had his first photoshoot!

Fast forward a several months and look at darling Emmet (pictured above at 4 months old… how DIVINE does he look in his little red hoodie?). Kate was thrilled to tell us that her experience at Katrina Christ Photographer was wonderful. For a woman whose baby-shower gift of choice was photography, this was so, so important.

Kate is loving motherhood and simply loves spending all of her time with her boy. While she’s “never been this busy before” she does still find it hard to explain exactly just where each day goes (just like all parents, I’m sure!).

Kate is half way through renovating so decided that a mixed collection 8″x10″ enlargements were the perfect choice for her final artwork, along with a stunning metallic tile. Kate chose Katrina Christ Photographer after first seeing us at the Pregnancy, Babies and Children’s Expo, and knew we were the right photographer for her when she browsed our website. The fact that we offered professional black and white portraiture also meant that her artwork from us would blend exceptionally well with existing black and white photographs in her home.
