I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Act for Kids 2015 Gala Ball on the weekend at the gorgeous Sofitel in Brisbane! It was a FABULOUS evening that ran so beautifully and I was so honoured to be able to donate my time and an amazing photographic collection to a charity that gives so much to children. The volunteers on the night were truly incredible, giving their time and effort to ensure everyone was looked after and to spread the word about this fantastic Charity and what they do! I am sure the ACT for Kids Team were speechless with the generosity displayed on the night – and a huge congratulations to them for creating a giving atmosphere each year, allowing for the donations to continue!
nKay McGrath was a sensational MC as usual and Pat Welsh did a fantastic job running the live auction. I am so proud and beyond excited that the collection I donated raised $7000 for this charity that I love so much and have been with since 2004.
I cannot wait to photograph the kind family who bought this wonderful collection – A big thank you to them as well for supporting ACT for Kids.
