An expert is a person who has a comprehensive and authoritative knowledge of, or skill in a particular area.
I am currently developing a video to showcase how much work goes into having a professional portrait shoot.
As a Professional Portrait Photographer we would spend a minimum of half an hour prepping for a shoot emails etc.
1-2 hours travelling at our cost to your home which includes our fuel costs as well as our time.
Up to 2 hours photographing you and your family to create a gorgeous mix of images.
1-1.5 hours downloading editing and proofing ready for you to view.
2 hours viewing and ordering session in our studio.
A minimum 5 hours, working the images to our high standard of quality control, the finishing costs whether it be prints, frames canvases.
Half an hour to collect and show you everything and help you pack it all in your car.
Half an hour to upload your free social media images to our website.
14 HOURS !!!!
Sounds crazy to me now that I go into detail, however these times are real.
We invest thousands and thousands of dollars in the latest equipment, software and we spend years training and honing our craft to produce these beautiful images.
Sometimes we get challenged on our pricing, I hope this aids in appreciating exactly how much work goes into producing our art.
