Red Nose Day is just around the corner on Friday 24th June. It is the perfect excuse for us big kids to have a bit of silliness all in the name of a great cause.
Red Nose Day is the major annual fundraising event for the SIDS and Kids foundation, whose work is dedicated to saving the lives of babies during pregnancy, infancy and into childhood. Whilst the occurrence of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) has shown a definite decline in recent decades, sadly, more than 4,300 babies and children still die each year from SIDS. SIDS and Kids continue their work to change this and relies almost totally on the support of the community – us!
Sadly, the importance for the research into SIDS hit very close to home for us at KCP last week. Jessica and Bradley, we are so pleased that we were able to photograph your beautiful daughter Hailey. We are thinking of you during this difficult time and send you much love and strength. xxx
We urge all the families and friends of KCP to show your support. Join us in this and don a red nose next Friday!
