Generational family photos are another style close to my heart. My brother lived overseas for 12 years and sometimes it is hard having everyone in the one spot and the same time and so therefore extremely precious.
During the portrait sitting we will photograph each generation all together, grandparents and grandchildren, grandchildren together. I also recommend doing the grandparents and their immediate children as well. We photograph a lovely mix of everything you could possibly want.
It is lots of fun and we keep things rolling along fairly quickly, especially as little ones may not last too long.

We are simply documenting! Documenting your life and those you love, and life goes by and you may forget to have them professionally photographed. When we are older I would suggest generation photos with the grandparents every 5 years.
